I think it would be a different kind of self portrait if the coils were enclosed within instead of trapping the outline. Thus they are like blood and are nourishing and fueling the body
I’ve heard of exoskeletal, but this is exoveinal! …not as much of an advantage in the wild as being exoskeletal. Except for when you’re giving blood.
