I feel like I can do this teaching thing! I just need more practice and time. I get that it’s not fair for my students to have anything less than the best English teacher. Maybe I need to go out in the world and figure out who I am, before I can go into a classroom and help little people figure out who they are and how they can be successful in life. I like teaching. I do care.
I like a lot of other things too, though. I care about a lot of other things. What’s the most important? Does it matter?
