I wrote an 11 page review (including pictures) of The Sketchbook Project show at iam8bit. It’s the longest thing I’ve written in a while. It is too long. I’m going to edit it and repost it. Probably.

Your colorful artist rendering of the show is wonderful! I attended LA show the second evening.
thank you! cool! I wanted to go again, but I had to go out of town. i could spend days in that library!
wonderful analysis with words and pictures – long live artists and libraries
Holy shit that is incredible depth/perspective you created with those cut-outs!!! Using the different sizes like that and the stairs and walls!!! NICE!!!
Also, count me in for making a sketchbook for 2013! That sounds fun!!
mine just came in the mail! i don’t know if i’m going to backwards plan the use of the pages or just sketch in it from the beginning and see where it goes…probably the latter considering how my plans normally work out
Seriously cool stuff there. Thanks for visiting my blog and I’m glad to now have yours to read/look at!
All the best.
Really cool! Thanks for the “like” – glad it introduced me to your work!
Don’t edit it . It looks great! Move on and keep working! nice to meet a fellow artist!
Nice to meet you too! I appreciate the idea of moving on. Sometimes I won’t let something go, so I end up doing nothing at all.
Now THAT is some serious color! Love it! it practically cheers you up with the vitality of the colors. Wonderful.
This is brilliant with the cut out people… I really like your style.
Thank you! Collages provide so many options for ways to organize the composition of an image!
Awesome! I haven’t seen a really cool collage for a while. maybe you should animate it? I find animating things (as time consuming as it can be) usually ends up being really rewarding and often takes your work down unexpected paths.
Thanks for checking out and following my blog too, you are my first follower!
absolute ❤ madness. I love it! And thanks for the like and for following along!
Oooooo animation! I wonder what I’d make people do? Maybe I’ll animate my turtle!
Nice work… I love the colors and your perspective. Thank you for following me.
Very Cool!
Loving this! It’s always a thrill for me to see other artists’ work! 🙂
Splendid! No matter how many different genres of art have and do exist there will always be NEW stuff coming along. are you starting the next trend?
Nice work.. Your cut outs really give it depth! : D
You really created the feeling of an art show here.
I keep trying to like your post , but the button doesn’t seem to be working for me.
Art, literature and your unique view, love it.
I love you art museum piece, brilliant!
This is so fun! really nice!
I like it. It is so different than what I’d tend to do. Great! Thanks also for the follow, I’ll be following you.
Lorna it appears that you would like to follow my blog, happy to have you. Welcome aboard.
Your sketch book looks pretty awesome.
What gorgeous work! Holy cow, I have no talent. I’m really impressed by your work.
Great post..I would love to read what you thought of the exhibit and collection!! I haven’t been able to see it yet. Brilliant rendering!!
Thank you! That’s the motivation I needed to complete another draft! Cheers!
Your concepts and execution are highly complementary. I don’t feel there’s anything forced about your work. It’s very fluid, natural and unselfconscious.
Very refreshing and uplifting.
Thank you so much!
You are most welcome!
Hello, thanks for for your ‘like’. I like your art and I’m looking forward to looking at more of your blogs.
There’s a wonderful sense of depth to this
Thank you! I want to do more collages!
you should, the one’s you’ve done are unique and fun, bright and colorful
I’m going to have a good look at your work over the holiday. I’m so busy now with Christmas.
How fun! I really like to collage…. this reminds me of creating similar works of art when I was younger…and I’m gradually doing it again.
