I tried a colored text box this time. I like it. I’m seriously considering writing a story from the point of view of a chair. A story from a point of view of a butt might be interesting, as well. But, considering writing is like talking about love or dancing about architecture (from Playing it By Heart). It’s pointless.
Are my images getting too big?
Image text:
Wednesday I saw a chair on the sidewalk on my walk back to Silverlake from Echo Park. It looked comfortable and worn. I played with the idea of writing a short story from the point of view of such a chair. There would have to be a lot of butts.
This is a beautiful image! I love the blues of the cars, the street, and the chair. And I think you should take a stab at writing that story.
Thank you! I’m going to do it!
Now, I think that this is just awesome! See how it flows together and yet you have got to read the text! Write that story. I will be waiting.
Thank you so much! You’re right about the colored text box! It’s less jarring.
It isn’t jarring at all; its part of the composition..Your doing great!
That was an excellent post today. You make it look so easy. Thanks so much for sharing it.
I really enjoyed reading it very much. You have a wonderful day!

I like this a lot. Makes me want to storm out and by photoshop as well. One thing I’d like to say though, and coming from a painter’s point of view … and a singular opinion … can’t the text boxes go outside the picture frame? All that lovely painting and hard work you did being covered up. And as to writing a story about the chair … can I play with? Also write re chairs and post and have fun?
Love it! As a person who’s been following your blog for a while, I think I can say that your style is forming shape. And it’s a wonderful style!!!
Keep on rocking!

Write the story. What a great point of view! Are you familiar with an old movie called The Yellow Rolls Royce? It is a good story about a thing. Yours would be a story by a thing.
Go for it! I see your point about moving the text box outside of the image. I’ll give that a try! Thank you!
Hmmmmmm interesting!
Okay, great. Look forward to the next post.
I like it very much. The blues in the image suggest the chair point of view. The box, in a very different, pinker shade goes deeper into the mind of the chair. What a cool idea!
Thank you so much! Right now I’m trying to figure out how to tell a story from the point of view of the chair. How can it see? How can it feel? What does it want? 🙂 Thanks again for stopping by!

Nice. Maybe also swimming about card shuffling?
And dude, yes write the chair POV story!!!
