Flip, Burbank

Written by:

We watched Tyler flip over the valley and into a swimming pool.

Swimming pools make me think of David Hockney.  I should have reviewed some of his art before I started this drawing.  I got too carried away with the details of the city and the swimming pool.  I should have focused on one or the other.  I intended to add typography to this image, but there are too many lines and not enough words.  I’m not sure if that’s true, but it sounds good.

I copied and pasted it from the original post, so her thoughts would not be lost

It’s really nice, I love that sky! And now I’m thinking about my Burbank days, they were fun.

Or…but there are already enough lines? So no words necessary? Great image, beautiful, interesting color, depth. Then the progression; things being taken away. Just great!
