Megan is the most recent subject of my Lines to Shapes portraits. This one has a bit of a twist. I played around with a bunch of different versions, as I always do, but I found the decisions for this piece to be particularly challenging. I finally decided that this is my favorite

This one is a close second. I chose the first one because I wanted to use more shapes. It’s truer to the original format for the Lines to Shapes series.
Here are some close ups. I like how “face” isn’t the first thing I’d think of when looking at the shapes.
