November Wreath

I took down my Halloween decorations on November 1st, excited to say good night to the BOOtanical Garden that I enjoyed growing throughout the second half of October.

If I sound out of breath it’s because I took all this stuff down in a 45 minute sprint to make it to a zoom meeting on time.

I have started working on the return of an Underwater Winter Wonderland for December.

I created a wreath for November to welcome the friends and family we will see (safely) this month. I used this as an opportunity to consolidate, organize, and repurpose pieces of paper flowers I’ve made this past year. I have tubs of Frankenstein flowers and construction experiments.

For the wreath foundation I used cardboard, chicken wire, and eventually hot glue. I added gold to embrace the fall of it all.

I ended up painting that orange circle red so it disappeared into the door.
