My Infinite Fish installation is joining Cardboard City 2023 this Summer in Century City.

Infinite Fish
Infinite Fish, from artist Lorna Alkana, is an expanding array of cardboard fish friends who are bright and bizarre. Alkana uses a hole punch and binder rings to vertically connect these double-faced, inconsistently finned fish into limitless columns. The fish twist in floating arrangements, allowing light to catch their mirror eyes and metallic, illogically placed scales. Their grins.
Infinite Fish is about pretend, movement, and wonder. Alkana started making and suspending small sculptures out of recycled materials as double-take front yard ornaments during quarantine in 2019.
Materials: cardboard, acrylic paint, biodegradable glitter, glitter, mirrors, glue, wire, paper, binder rings
