The band No has an amazing up beat and toe-tappy sound that’s also dreamy and shoe-gazy. They performed in the afternoon during Echo Park Rising 2012 at the Taix Outdoor Stage. I moved them above the crowd to break up the spacing of the drawing.

I love the idea of a floating band… this image really interests me, for reasons I can only deem magnetic attached to sky hooks. I dunno. I really like the hovering musicians… makes me think of Chris Van Allsburg’s flying chairs… or nuns… or something from that book of random images/fragments of story.
