I normally play around with a photo before I draw it. I mess with contrast, hue/saturation, color balance, etc. so that I can find shapes to draw and hide and distort. I didn’t draw the following, I just let it be (after some severe editing). Perhaps I can still explain my process, like I do with my drawings, by using snapshots of the photos while I’m editing them. Not yet, though. I’ll need to figure out a way to do that without going mad from digital paperwork.
Here is the final 8″x10″ photograph. I feel like the title explains a bit of what’s going on.
