This is the beginnings of a drawing for my friend Tien. He’s an amazing musician and singer (check him out here). It’s great to be drawing again. I haven’t been able to make new art in a while, since I was focusing on preparations for the art show.
I wish I had used a smaller pen for his face. I’m thinking about leaving some parts uncolored (like the image below) for the final product. I’m going to work on finishing the piece first, and then I can go back and see how to best incorporate the explicit/naked line drawing.
